Thanksgiving Australia gala dinner in Melbourne

On Sunday 19th November, Thanksgiving Australia held an inaugural dinner event at Melrose Events, Tullamarine.

In attendance was his grace Bishop Rewis of East Asia, Fr Mina and Tasoni Phoebe, clergymen from Melbourne and Sydney, with the highlight of the night being the very reverent Fr Daoud Lamei, who joined us live from Cairo via Zoom.

The event was jam-packed with speakers who shared amazing stories of hope and change they see in the lives of the people they serve, videos of services supported by Thanksgiving Australia, and great food and entertainment.

All that transpired on this special night raised awareness of who Thanksgiving Australia is and what we do.

The hearts of many were moved as they made heartfelt connections with the dire needs of the underprivileged and gave generously.

We are so very grateful to have had the support of the amazing Melbourne team, who worked tirelessly to make this event the success that it was.
